Comments...
After practicing physical therapy for 15 years, my personal goal was to increase my skill level and focus on the specialty of pain relief. I started searching for new forms of treatment that would deal with the cause of the pain, not just the symptoms. I have always found it difficult to tell my clients, suffering with pain, that they may have to learn to cope with some level of pain or dysfunction for the rest of their life.
That's when I found Myofascial Release and Craniosacral Therapy. I began to study with John F. Barnes, PT. I, as well as my clients, have been pleased with the benefits this work provides.
In an effort to educate the public, and make others confident in my training, I may mention I have taken the highest level of courses available in the John F. Barnes method of Myofascial Release.
However, please note the worth of my skills and education does not depend on the number of certificates I can hang on my wall. It depends on the results we (therapist and patient) can achieve in the treatment room.
I firmly believe the highest compliment my patients can give is the referral of their family and friends.
